It's Festival Time in Cairns

It's a festive three weeks in Cairns as this tropical north Queensland city, famous for being a gateway to the Great Barrier Reef, celebrates Festival Cairns from September 2 to September 24 this year. It is the fourth year of the festival which is marked by signature food and wine events, performances by guest national and internatioal artists, and multicultural and community celebrations, all highlighting Tropical Australia's diverse cultural life.
