How It Was at Bondi Beach
Sunday December 18, 2005
The exhibition Bondi: A Biography opens today at the Museum of Sydney depicting the colorful history of this beachside suburb in what could be described as an age of innocence in the light of the troubles on Sydney beaches. Photographs, audio-visual interviews with Bondi identities and memorabilia including such items as life-saving equipment, vintage surfboards and shark jaws are on display. The Museum of Sydney is on the corner of Bridge and Phillip Sts in the heart of the city. The exhibition is at the museum until April 2006.
