Australian Open: Baghdatis through to Semi-Finals

Unseeded player Marcos Baghdatis (Cyprus) defeated No 7 seed Ivan Ljubicic (Croatia), 6-4, 6-2, 4-6, 3-6, 6-3, in the quarter-finals in a Day 9 five-setter that finished after midnight. Baghdatis advances to the semi-finals.
