Australia Post is celebrating the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games with special commemerative postage stamp issues. As many as 100 different designs are expected to be released covering the opening and closing ceremonies, various sports, Australian gold medal winners, and one Games highlight to form the "most memorable moment" stamp.

The netball, cycling and athletics stamps have just been released, with the netball and cycling stamps designd for international use to help bring the Games to the world. Earlier this year, in the build-up to the holding of the Games, an official logo stamp was released by Australia Post.
