Discover Fremantle

That's Perth's seaport at the mouth of the Swan River, a historic site of colonial convict buildings and, in more recent times, home to the America's Cup in 1983-87. Only 19 kilometres from the Perth city centre, Fremantle has become a virtual Perth suburb as the state capital continues to grow outward. It’s one of the interesting and nearer places to visit when you’re in Perth, another being Rottnest Island across the water.
