Australian actress Nicole Kidman and country singer fiance Keith Urban have confirmed they are getting married in Sydney. They issued a joint statement saying: "We are very happy to be back in Australia. We have come home to celebrate our wedding with our family and friends."

Preparations for the wedding, and the wedding itself, are shrouded in secrecy.

New Zealand-born Urban grew up and received a number of country music awards in Australia, such as those at the Tamworth Country Music Festival.
