Walk Among the Flowers

Saturday September 16, 2006
September 16 is the start of the Floriade flower festival in Canberra and the Wildflower Festival in Victoria.

Floriade takes place in Commonwealth Park beside Lake Burley Griffin and is a short walk from the Canberra city centre. The Wildflower Festival in Victoria is held at the Royal Botanic Gardens Cranbourne, less than an hour's drive from Melbourne, where you can also visit the Australian Garden, showcase of Australian native flora.
