Archibald Prize Portraits
Go on Display in Sydney

Winners and finalists of Australia's prestigious 2007 Archibald, Sulman and Wynn art prizes go on display at the Art Gallery of New South Wales from March 3 to May 13.
This year's Archibald Prize winner for portraiture is Sydney artist John Beard with his black and white portrait of installation artist Janet Laurence.
The Sulman Prize for subject/genre painting went to David Disher for his work Axis of Elvis while the Wynn Prize for landscape painting went to Philip Wolfhagen for his Winter Nocturne IV.
Winners of this year's three premier art prizes were announced at noon of March 2 at the Art Gallery of New South Wales in Sydney.
There is an $8 admission charge ($6 concession/students/members) to the Archibald, Wynn and Sulman Prizes exhibition, which comprises winners and finalists in the three art competitions.
From Sydney, the exhibition goes on display in Melbourne at the Myer Mural Hall from May 18 to July 1.
