Nicole Kidman Receives
Order of Australia Honor

Oscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman has been bestowed her country's greatest honor when she received her Order of Australia medal.
She had been named a Companion of the Order of Australia at the 2007 Australia Day Honors but had been unable to receive her award at the time.
She received the award on April 13 for her service to the performing arts as an acclaimed motion picture performer as well as for her charity work with women, children and cancer research.
She received her award from Governor General Michael Jeffery at an Order of Australia ceremony in Canberra.
The Companion of the Order of Australia is currently the highest-ranked Australian honor.
