Sturt's Desert Rose: Floral
Emblem of the Northern Territory
Tuesday April 17, 2007
Mate, that's Sturt's desert rose (also known as Sturt desert rose) and that's the floral emblem of Australia's Northern Territory. You'll find Sturt's desert rose on stony or rocky slopes, or in dry creek beds, around Alice Springs and in the southern part of the Northern Territory, northeastern South Australia, western Queensland, western New South Wales and parts of northern Western Australia.

Is this flower related to cactus in any way? Do you know if there are any address books available anywhere with this design. I have never seen this before.
