New-look Overland Back on Track
Tuesday May 8, 2007
The Overland, which has been in service between Melbourne and Adelaide for more than a century, has had a facelift and the new, refurbished train is back on the rails.
The Overland pioneered inter-capital train travel in 1887 and after 120 years continues to provide that link between the two southern cities.
The refurbished Overland has more leg room in two classes of sit-up service, newly refurbished interiors and a new cafe carriage.
