Filming of Australia Epic Now in Bowen

After filming scenes in Sydney at Strickland House, shooting of the Baz Luhrmann movie Australia moves to the Queensland town of Bowen this week.
The sprawling film epic set in the period before and during the bombing of Darwin in World War II stars Aussie actors Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman.
After filming in Bowen, location shooting will move to Kununurra in Western Australia.
