Kununurra Awaits Australia

Cast and crew of the Baz Luhrmann film Australia are taking a break in Sydney after location shooting in Darwin and before they start filming in Kununurra in the Kimberley region of Western Australia.
Australia stars Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman who have been filming with a large Australian cast on location in Sydney, Bowen in Queensland, and Darwin in the Northern Territory, as well as in Fox Studios at the old Sydney Showground.
Filming in Kununurra is expected to start in two weeks.
The story of Australia takes place in the period leading up to the bombing of Darwin in World War II.
