The Bungle Bungles Are a World Heritage Site

Wednesday October 10, 2007
We call them the Bungle Bungles, not that there's any bungling involved. At least, not that I know of. They say the name is a corruption of another phrase altogether: bundle bundle, a grass common to the Kimberley region of Western Australia.

Purnululu National Park and the Bungle Bungle Range in Western Australia are a World Heritage site, and a part of the striking landscape of this amazing Australia Other World Heritage Australian sites...
