Whale Watching at Kaikoura

Friday October 12, 2007
On the east coast of New Zealand's South Island between Picton and Christchurch, find your choice spot for your "Moby Dick experience."

Kaikoura is probably your best spot in New Zealand to get up close and personal with the whales of the south. Find a whale of a tale, or the tail of a whale, in a whale-watch experience almost any time of the year. In Australia, spot the whales along the coast as they head south to their Antarctic home as the 2007 whale migration season nears its end.
