Whales Ahoy
Friday November 30, 2007
At New Zealand's national museum, Te Papa in Wellington, the latest Tower Gallery exhibition is Whales - Tohora from December 1 to May 11.
The Whales exhibition includes cultural performances, whale trails and games for the children. For the adults there are whale stories, intriguing objects, and interactive science.
The Tower Gallery is on level 4 of the museum. Admission charges apply with children admitted free when accompanied by adults.
The opening of the Whales exhibition at Te Papa coincides with the tail-end of the whale migration season in the southern hemisphere as whales return to the Antarctic.
