All That Darling Jazz

Saturday May 31, 2008
Over the Queen's Birthday long weekend (June 7-9), Sydney's Darling Harbour comes alive with the sound of jazz and blues.

It's the 18th annual Darling Harbour Jazz and Blues Festival, and musicians and performers include well-known Australians James Morrison, Deni Hines, Katie Noonan, The Hands, The Catholics, The Hiptones, Ray Mann... with all outdoor jazz and blues events free to the public.

Performances take place at Harbourside Amphitheatre, Convention Centre Forecourt, Aquashell Cockle Bay and Tumbalong Park during the three days of the festival and on June 9 at the Chinese Garden of Friendship from 11am to 2pm.

Performances generally start around noon at one or more of the designated outdoor festival venues.
