It's a Girl for Nicole

Australian actress Nicole Kidman has given birth to a baby girl with husband country singer Keith Urban by her side.

The baby, Sunday Rose, is Kidman's first biological child. The baby was born on July 7 in the United States.

Kidman stars in the Outback epic Australia by celebrated Australian director Baz Luhrmann, which is due for release later this year.

Kidman won the best actress Oscar for her role in The Hours in 2002.

She was married to Tom Cruise in 1990. They separated in 2001.
