Get Set for Sydney's Cabramatta Moon Festival

Monday August 25, 2008
The Cabramatta Moon Festival, celebrated once a year when the moon shines brightest at the vernal equinox, is one of Sydney's largest Asian multicultural festivals.

It draws crowds in the tens of thousands and is worth visiting for a taste of Asian multicultural life in the Sydney suburbs.

This year, it all happens on Saturday, September 6, from 11am to 8pm. Take the train to Cabramatta and go dance with the lions... Photo: The dancing lions step out at the Cabramatta Moon Festival © Tourism New South Wales

I go to the Cabramatta Moon Festival every year, and I highly recommend it. (In fact, I am going to it this Saturday.) There are a lot of things there which you don’t usually see in Cabramatta.
