Australian Hotels Named Region's Top Three

If you're looking for the best hotels in Australia and New Zealand, the annual HotelClub Awards could be a helpful guide.This year's top three hotels in the Australia, New Zealand and Pacific Islands region named at the HotelClub Awards were all Australian: the Gold Coast's Palazzo Versace, Sydney's Shangri-La Hotel and Melbourne's Crown Towers.

The awards were announced in Sydney on the night of September 11.
It's the third successive year that Crown Towers has made it to the top three hotels in the region.
The best hotels are rated according to a poll of hotel consumers conducted by HotelClub Australia, a subsidiary of online travel company Orbitz Worldwide Inc.
