Spring into Victoria's Spring Racing Carnival

Victoria's Spring Racing Carnival is launched at Federation Square on October 1 with a horse racing program at various Victorian racetracks.

The spring racing program continues until November 19.

The big race of the season is, of course, Australia's richest race, the Melbourne Cup, which this year takes place on November 4 at Flemington Racecourse.

The big race at Caulfield Racecourse is the Caulfield Cup which takes place on October 18.

The Victorian Spring Racing Carnival takes place not only in Melbourne but also in other horse racing venues in the state.
