Pre-race favorites for the Caulfield Cup at Melbourne's Caulfield Racecourse today, October 18, disappointed backers as long-shot runners All the Good ($41), Nom Du Jeu ($31) and Barbaricus ($101) took out the first three places in the 2400m handicap race.
Pre-race favorite and Turnbull Stakes winner Littorio ($4.60) finished fifth while second favorite Weekend Hussler ($7), who had failed in the Turnbull Stakes, finished 12th. Third favorite and last year's Caulfield Cup winner Master O'Reilly ($7.50) finished seventh.
