Australian Open - Ivanovic Loses to Russian

Last year's Australian Open women's singles finalist and No 5 seed Ana Ivanovic (Serbia) lost to No 29 seed Alisa Kleybanova (Russia) in her Round 3 match at Melbourne Park on the night of January 23, local time.
She is the second top-seeded women's player to be eliminated from this year's Grand Slam tournament, after No 6 seed Venus Williams (US) was sent packing by unseeded Carla Suarez Navarro (Spain) in the second round.
Kleybanova defeated Ivanovic 7-5, 6-7, 6-2.
