Find Your Way to Cradle Mountain

Friday February 13, 2009
Cradle Mountain. Cradle Mountain. If you're traveling to Tasmania, Australia's only island state, you'll be told: Don't miss Cradle Mountain.

Right in the heart of Tasmania is this island state's most popular wilderness destination. There are lots of things you can do in Cradle Mountain but you'd have to be an adventurous outdoors type.

You can, for instance, walk the Overland Track which runs 80 kilometres through the Tasmanian wilderness from Cradle Mountain to Lake St Clair.

Or you can go horse riding or go angling for trout. Or ask at the lodge for things to do. Just don't get lost in the wild.

Here's how to get to Cradle Mountain.
