It's a Feast for the Senses at Melbourne Arts Festival
Some 76 different musical, arts and theatrical events, including a series of free night-time concerts, take place during the Melbourne Arts Festival which this year runs until October 24.
It's a veritable feast for the senses with dance, theatre, music, visual arts, multimedia and outdoor events.
Festival artistic director Brett Sheehy says there will be something for everyone: "Everything from international symphonic and operatic masterpieces, right through to hip hop from Ramallah. We've got punk from Beijing, noise rock from Japan."
Indoor and outdoor festival events take place at various venues across the city, including Federation Square, Australian Centre for the Moving Image, and participating theatre venues.
