"We're going to Australia, we're going to Australia," television superstar Oprah Winfrey has announced to her studio audience.
And yes, the iconic American TV star will be taping a once-in-a-lifetime TV program at the Sydney "Oprah" House.
Winfrey announced on her show that she was flying her talk show audience to Australia for an eight-day adventure to celebrate her 25th and final season of The Oprah Winfrey Show.
The eight-day, seven-night trip — called Oprah's Ultimate Australian Adventure — will take place in December.
Among the sites planned to be visited during the Ultimate Australian Adventure are Sydney Harbour, Melbourne, the Great Barrier Reef, Australia's beaches and wine regions.
"We'll sail Sydney Harbour, some will sample shiraz in Aussie wine country and others will shop 'til they drop in trendy Melbourne," Winfrey told her audience.
"We'll get up close with kangaroos and koalas, kick back on some of the world's most beautiful beaches and experience one of the seven wonders of the world — the Great Barrier Reef."

Get ready Australia. At least she did not say koala bears.
I would like to know if I may purchase “Oprah’s Ultimate Australian Adventure” DVD. I live in an area where the TV special was not offered. A friend told me about the special on TV and I would like to have the opportunity to view also.
Thank you for your time. Sharon
