Wellington, Newcastle Named Top 2011 Destinations

Wellington in New Zealand and Newcastle in Australia have been named among the top 10 travel destinations by travel publisher Lonely Planet.

The world's top 10 places to visit in 2011 are listed in the new book Lonely Planet's Best in Travel 2011.

Top of the list is New York City, followed by Tangier, Morocco, and Tel Aviv, Israel.

Wellington, capital of New Zealand, is ranked fourth and the New South Wales city of Newcastle is ranked ninth.
