The Golden Slipper, Sydney's richest horse race and the world's richest race for two-year-old thoroughbreds with prizemoney of A$3.5 million, is run this year on April 7 at Sydney's Rosehill Gardens.
Golden Slipper Day offers a full day's racing — and entertainment — with nine races on the day.
There's parking at the racecourse for those who drive and there are trains and buses to the racecourse for those who prefer public transport.
