Take Time to Smell the Flowers - Take a Stroll Through Australia's Botanic Gardens

By October 15, 2012

If you're in Sydney this spring, you might want to take a stroll through the Royal Botanic Gardens when you visit Sydney Opera House. The gardens are just east of the Opera House and numerous trees and plants are in flower. It certainly is a place for quiet relaxation and for getting close to Nature at its most attractive.

Interestingly, you'll find botanic gardens within or close to Australia's major cities and they are among Australia's most popular places.

There's the Royal Tasmanian Botanic Gardens, for instance, just two kilometres from Hobart city centre in Tasmania, and you can certainly walk to Brisbane's City Botanic Gardens in Queensland or Perth's Kings Park and Botanic Garden in Western Australia.
