Interestingly, Jindabyne, gateway to the Snowy Mountains ski resorts, is also quite a summer destination with fishing, sailing and windsurfing on Lake Jindabyne.
The Thredbo ski resort caters for summer visitors as well with at least one ski lift operating to the top of the mountains.
