queer street. To be in queer street is to be broke. With language changes, could mean something else now.

quid, as in not the full quid. Anyone who's not the full quid is mentally deficient.

Quist, as in Adrian Quist. Rhyming slang for drunk. Quist = pissed. Also see Adrians on the A page.
