When it was completed in 2000, the new Melbourne Museum, with its distinctive soaring roofline and grand proportions, became the largest museum not only in Australia but in the whole southern hemisphere.
But it is not just the grand dimensions of Melbourne Museum which distinguish it.
Located at Carlton Gardens in the capital of Victoria, the Melbourne Museum sits among the greenery with its veritable treasures: from Australias Aboriginal heritage through the years of history to today's digital marvels.
