Getting There
Visitors to Melbourne should have no difficulty locating Federation Square.
If taking the train, stopping at Flinders St Station takes you to Federation Square across Swanston St.
If taking a tram, including the free City Circle tram, stop in the vicinity of Federation Square on the Swanston and Flinders St routes.
By bus, take the Swanston and Flinders St routes.
By bike, take the Yarra River Trail.
By water, take a Yarra River water taxi.
Of course, if you're driving, you can use the Federation Square carpark accessed from Russell St or Batman Ave which is an extension of Exhibition St south. There is a charge for parking.
If you're within reasonable distance of Federation Square, you may prefer to walk.
