Brisbane River ... running through Brisbane city

Seems like every Australian capital city has a river running through it or close by. There's the Derwent in Hobart, the Yarra in Melbourne, the Swan in Perth, and the Parramatta River runs through the western suburbs to the harbour in Sydney. In Brisbane, it's the Brisbane River that courses through the city.
