Archibald Fountain

Hyde Park

Sydney's Archibald Fountain is located at the northern end of Hyde Park, an area popular with visitors and locals alike. The fountain is gift to Sydney by publisher J F Archibald who also endowed the annual Archibald Prize for portrait painting. Archibald founded The Bulletin in the 1880s; it is still being published today as a weekly newsmagazine. Picture by Larry Rivera.
