make a good fist. Do (a task) well.

mate. Anyone's a mate, especially when you're trying to strike some kind of rapport, as in the greeting G'day mate.

matey. Must be better than a mate, or adding -y just for the sake of it.

middy. A middle-sized (285ml) glass, usually of beer. Also see schooner.

motza, also motser or motzer. Large amount of money, usually applied to a gambling win.

mozzie. Mosquito.

mug. A fool, one easily duped.
