By Larry Rivera, About.com

Day 3, and time to enter the heart of the city. If taking the train, Museum or St James station brings you right to Hyde Park. Beside it on the east is St Mary's Cathedral. A short walk away to the west is Sydney Tower. Come nightfall and you might want to visit the Cross.

What they say

  • Australia is fantastic
"Australia is FANTASTIC! I'd go back in a heartbeat. The people are DYNAMITE! I'd like to adopt Australia. Don't think that's possible for anyone but Donald Trump. Whatever!"

Aussiespeak

  • Ava Captain Cook at rhyming slang
Now you won't be standing up, or sitting down, open-mouthed as your Aussie mates bandy rhyming slang all around you. It needs a bit of mental gymnastics but you'll be right, mate.
