- Roger Federer (1), Switzerland, defeated Andy Murray (5), United Kingdom, 6-3, 5-4, 7-6, to regain the Australian Open men's singles championship title which he lost to Rafael Nadal in 2009.
Women's Singles Final
- Serena Wiliams (1), USA, defeated Justine Henin (unseeded), Belgium, 6-4, 3-6, 6-2, to retain her Australian Open championship title.
