Central Eastern Rainforest Reserves Australia (CERRA) World Heritage site.

Lamington National park comprises lush rainforests, ancient trees, spectacular views, extensive walking tracks, exceptional ecological importance, natural beauty.
Access:
The park is generally accessed by road from the northern end of the park through Binna Burra in the east and Green Mountains in the west.
From Queensland's Gold Coast, drive to Nerang, then take the turnoff to Binna Burra. Alternatively, head west to the town of Canungra, then south on the Lamington National Park Rd to reach O'Reilly's.
Popular park destination:
O'Reilly's Plateau at the southern end of Lamington National Park Rd about 38 kilometres (55 minutes by motor vehicle) south of the town of Canungra.
Attractions on the way:
Canungra Valley Vineyards, 8 kilometres from Canungra.
Rosemount Alpaca Stud, 20 kilometres from Canungra Valley Vineyards.
At O'Reilly's:
O'Reilly's Rainforest Guesthouse, 4.5-star accommodation.
O'Reilly's Store and Bistro, for food, refreshments, souvenir items.
O'Reilly's Treetop Walk, with most of the walkway 15 metres from the ground.
Comments:
A lack of prominent road signs pointing the way to Lamington National Park, particularly from the Pacific Highway intersection at Nerang, can distract from fully enjoying a drive to the park.
When taking Lamington National Park Rd, once one has entered the rainforest-canopied section, it will be extremely difficult to turn back on the narrow road, if one wished to for any reason.
