Exhilarating, high adventure Rotorua activities include whitewater rafting (also known as sledging) on the Kaituna River, which is said to have the highest commercially rafted waterfall in the world.

White water rafting is possible on many New Zealand rivers, one of which is certainly the Kaituna River.
