Mona Vale Beach is a long shallow beach adjacent to Mona Vale Golf Club at the junction of Mona Vale, Pittwater and Barrenjoey Rds in Sydney's Northern Beaches region.
It's a popular family beach with playground and barbecue facilities but there are sections with dangerous rips.
Beach inspectors patrol the beach during daylight hours from the September school holidays until the Anzac Day weekend. In summer, volunteer lifesavers are present on weekends and public holidays.
