Sydney Walking Tour - Hyde Park to Darling Harbour

The restored late Victorian, Romanesque building that is the Queen Victoria Building occupies a whole Sydney city block bounded by George, Market, York and Park Sts. Restored to its original look and lustre, the Queen Victoria Building today is a relatively upmarket shopping complex dedicated largely to fashion wear, jewelry, and Australian items.

Also in the building are a variety of small restaurants, snack bars and coffee shops if you want to stop for lunch or morning tea.
