This view of Darling Harbour looks toward its southern end with Cockle Bay spanned by Pyrmont Bridge, now open solely to pederstrian traffic and the overhead monorail.

The middle section of Pyrmont Bridge is able to be opened to allow tall watercraft through to Cockle Bay.

The Harbourside shopping complex fringes Cockle Bay from the western end of the bridge. Further south of Harbourside are the Convention Centre and Exhibition Halls.

The exhibition halls front Tumbalong Park, which has the Imax Cinema on its northeastern edge. The Chinese Friendship Garden is further south, close to the Sydney Entertainment Centre.
