This is HMB Endeavour in full sail at sea. When it is in its home port, it is moored at the Australian National Maritime Museum in Darling Harbour and open to the public. An entry fee applies.
Out to prove or disprove the existence of a "Great South Land," English explorer James Cook set sail from England in 1768 on the original HM Bark Endeavour, landing first in New Zealand in 1770, before reaching Australia and landing at Botany Bay on April 28 of the same year.
