Performance arts programs and music concerts
Within a stone's throw of the Chinese Garden Friendship, Tumbalong Park is a circle of green, perhaps not exactly a circle as a stage and dressing rooms occupy part of the circle.
It is a place where people can walk, or sit, on grass, or watch performances on the green or listen to the music of open-air concerts.
Dance programs, acrobatics, martial arts exhibitions, food fairs, music concerts and other events take place at Tumbalong Park.
In the photograph above, a concert is held during the Darling Harbour Jazz and Blues Festival, occurring usually during the long Queen's Birthday holiday weekend.
