Melbourne Museum is open from 10am to 5pm daily except Good Friday and Christmas Day.

Admission to the museum is $6 for adults, with concession card holders and children from 3 to 16 years of age free.

Some major touring exhibitions may have an additional admission charge.

Melbourne Museum is located beside the Royal Exhibition Building in Carlton Gardens, between Rathdown and Nicholson Sts.

How to get there:

By car. Underground car parking is available from Nicholson or Rathdown Sts.

By tram. Take Tram 86 or 96 to Nicholson and Gertrude St, the City Circle Tram to Victoria St and follow the signs to Carlton Gardens.

By train. Take the City Loop Train to Parliament Station and follow the signs to Carlton Gardens.

V/Line packages with rail travel and admission are available throughout Victoria.
