The Perth Wildflower Festival takes place at Kings Park and Botanic Garden in the first month of the Australian spring.

Since 2007, the festival has become a month-long event starting on the first day of September. Known as Perth's Wildflower Festival, it is now more formally known as Kings Park Festival.

Each weekend of the festival is themed with special and interactive events and spectacular displays of Western Australia wildflowers.

Close to the city centre, the eastern section of Kings Park and Botanic Garden is within easy walking distance of Perth city's main street, St Georges Terrace.
